Terms & Conditions – Batchelors Mushy Peas Grand Final Competition

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

1.     The Batchelors Mushy Peas competition (the “Promotion”) is offered by the promoter, Princes Limited of Royal Liver Building, Pier Head, Liverpool, L3 1NX (the “Promoter”). The Promotion will run between 03.10.23 at 12:00 and close on 09.10.23 at 23:59.

2.     Eligibility: Entrants must be resident in the UK (England, Scotland or Wales excluding Northern Ireland) and be over 18 years of age. Employees of Princes Limited, their immediate families, agencies, associates, printers or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion are excluded. Promotion excludes residents of the Republic of Ireland. Access to the internet is required.

3.     Entry Instructions: To enter this competition, entrants must visit www.batchelorspeas.co.uk/superleaguegrandfinalcompetition and submit their name, email address and contact number via the form provided. One entry per person during the promotional period. For the avoidance of doubt, only one unique email address will be accepted per person.

4.     Promotional Period: Promotion opens 03.10.23 at 12.00. Entry closes at 23:59 on 09.10.23. Any entries received outside the promotional period will not be accepted.

5.     There will be 7 winners drawn at random by an independent person on 10.10.23 and 1 prize per winner (a pair of tickets (x2) to the Grand Final). Total prizes available to be won are as follows:

·       5 pairs (x2) of standard tickets to the Grand Final game on 14.10.23.

·       2 pairs (x2) of hospitality tickets to the the Grand Final game on 14.10.23.

6.     The selected winner of each available prize will be notified via email that they have won the prize within 5 days of the closing date.

7.     All winners must claim their prize by following the instructions in the notification within 28 days of being informed that they have won the competition and provide necessary information to enable the Promoter to award the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize to valid entries in the event of a non-claim without incurring any liability.

8.     The prize will be sent out within 5 days of receipt of the prize claim upon the relevant winner providing their applicable email. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any inaccurate details provided by the relevant winners. The Promoter can provide no assurance the prize will be delivered to the relevant winners by a specified date but will aim to send the prize as soon as reasonably practicable.

9.     The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any incomplete, misdirected, illegible or ineligible entries (which may be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion) or entries which fail to arrive by the specified closing date. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

10.  Winners may be asked to have their photo taken for publicity purposes.  Princes will comply at all times with the data protection requirements more specifically outlined in Clause 18 of these terms.

11.  It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on acceptance of a prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.

12.  If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to industry-wide supply chain issues, any affected entrants will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotion or prize.

13.  By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the Promoter that are final in all matters relating to the promotion.

14.  The prize is not negotiable or transferable. There are no cash or other alternatives in whole or in part to the stated prizes and unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.

15.  The promoter may refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement and disqualify the entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe that: (i) there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements of the promotion; (ii) an entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion; or (iii) an entrant has won using fraudulent means, including but not limited to the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means. The promoter decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

16.  The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.

17.  The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname of prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails Batchelors.Peas@princes.co.uk within one month after the closing date. If you object to any or all of your surname and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at Batchelors.Peas@princes.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

 

18.  Any personal data relating to Entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party (other than the Promoter’s agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion and prizes). 19.  If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
